Default CA vehicle tags

Got a question here.........Anyone know the formula used to come up with the amount for vehicle registration? I know it decreases for 11 years on a vehicle but I also know Arnold up in Sacramento has changed some things in the last year so I have no idea what to expect. Year 2 on $35000........what are the tags?

For a 2003 Nissan 350Z/ $35K should be ~$245. Which includes $31 Registration fee, $9 CHP fee and the Vehicle Lisence Fee. Since you are not getting a smog either, then add $6 smog abatement fee.
