This thread all of a sudden got really live. Good ish. I've been busy for a while working on a new headlight mod. Let me know what you guys think. I shaved the amber strip with a small amount of fiber glass and premium body filler. Also the lights have 3 coats of each primer, base coat, and top coat. Then each stage was wet sanded and buffed out.

 

Lets plan this out this weekend or if need be within a couple of days.


I use to eat at Kabuki a lot when I worked in woodland hills. The ankimo was decent and the seaweed salad was good.

 

i like what that looks like. from what i can tell with the reflection and all, it looks clean. does anyone ever paint those silver pieces [center of headlight/lamp housing unit] black?

Now that, that is off my chest. Socal350 & I are trying to organize the first "818 Summer BBQ." We were thinking of having it at Balboa Park either on Aug 18/19 or Aug 25/26. Honestly never really had it. For my birthday this year my wife took me out to dinner at Kyoto Sushi near the Fallbrook Mall. It wasn't my cup of tea and pretty expensive.

But I love fish and shrimp! I worked at Red Lobster as my first job so so I could get a discount and eat seafood all day!

 

lol kyoto sushi is ok nothing to write home about. Red lobster is good i havent there since back in the day which was a wednesday by the way

 

Red Lobster is awesome. Love the triple shrimp dinner and those rolls are gangsta and the salad tastes great. I call for a Red lobster meet!

Honestly tho, Kyoto was recommended by her friend and it was the first time i had ever even tried sushi, it was cold and wet, I was hoping for warm fish or shrimp. They got any of that at Kabuki???
