ya i got a speeding ticket a week or so ago i was speeding but not going as fast as he said... ****in ********

 

a month ago I got a ****in exhaust ticket for loudness. He gave me a warning for speeding. ****in traffic in the valley sucks! So I was driving through a residential section and I did not know the area well but trying to get around the construction area/traffic and a damn cop was chillin on the mist. Said he could hear me a mile away. It's been a month and it's still not updated into the damn lasuperiorcourt.org website for me to get a damn extension!!!!! FAWK the valley!

I thought you would! Your **** is LOUD! Guess what man I got the ticket about 10 minutes after you and I met up at the 76 station, traffic was backed up on vanowen for construction so i went through a residential neighborhood to get around it. Otherwise I NEVER would have been where I was at to get caught! I'm still waiting to find out the price of the ticket and if it is a correctible or test ticket.

 

if you guys don't want to drive far, there's a shop called upgrademotoring in front of the costco on tampa. price is a little higher than perf/westco, but it's closer. got some project mu brake pads and momo racing gloves (gloves were 50% off!).

saw a black z on the way out.

 

i see like 2-3 people get pulled over on the way to work everyday (on rinaldi & mason). there's even cops on my residential street, hiding near the bushes and giving tickets to those who don't completely stop at the stop sign (3 way stop going downhill).

 

upgrade has been around forever and was on chatsworth or devonshire in granada hills in the 90's. are they across the street from costco?

 

oh yah? they said they've been around for 19 years. now they're behind el torito/near harpers on tampa. are there any other shops in the valley you recommend?

 

LOL, they used to sell bikinis or swimwear at the same store along with jdm stuff in granada hills.
as far as shops, i know there is one on reseda and saticoy, but i forgot the name. darkside in chatsworth is no longer and i wish carmate in glendale was still around, anybody here remember them? old school shops were great!

we definitely need another good shop w/ parts and install in the 818.

they're not on reseda anymore, and their phone number doesn't work (tried calling them a couple months ago). i think they closed down.

i use to go there back in the days when i had my accord.

i had a 94 accord coupe, not korean though , with test pipes, cf muffler w/ custom 2.50 pipes, dc headers, kosei racing wheels, eibach springs back in the day. put it back to stock then was forced to sell it to get my z.
