I think I saw you. I was under a tunnel on San Gabriel Blvd in my sweet roadster and we made eye contact.

 

I remember several instances (whether it was eye contact or thumbs up)with a silver Z roadster.

1. On Alhambra Rd., near a Chatholic Church. (About 2pm)
2. San Gabriel Blvd, near California Blvd. (during the day)
3. San Gabriel Blvd, near Las Tunas (around 9:00pm)
4. I can't remember a tunnel instance......... (there are about roughly 2 other UY Z's running around the San Gabriel area - so much for being unique ).

So the 626 meet is at 3:00pm @ Buena Park on May 8th???????

I don't think anything has happened yet. Why don't we start throwing out some suggestions with dates and times. I say Saturday May 7 for dim sum at 11:00AM at Atlantic & Garvey, (or by there), not sure what the place was called. We can meet at the Bank of America there by Sunday Cafe.

 

Dim sum = iris interested. Gotta meet before 2 pm to get the good selection though. 11 am sounds good.

 

had dim sum yesterday off atlantic, it was called NBC seafood or something.

im far but i go to that area alot, so i might make it out.

 

Was wondering how you guys felt about a Mexican and Z lover joining your meets? I am not calling anyone racist, but I dont even know what "DIM-SUM" is. I imagine its some breakfast seafood deal.

Anyways....how about! Once my Z is out of the body shop I would like to meet some members!

well, NBC is a few blocks south on atlantic past garvey... it's usually the place I go to for dim sum. I think there's also a couple of places on the corner of garvey and atlantic. wherever people want to go is fine with me. NBC will be crowded that's for sure and there may not be enough parking spaces for everyone unless you get there early. but then again, the food is good. either way, someone pick a place and let's set a date and time. is this Sat. the 7th good for everyone?

Holy smokes! A mexican at dim sum? LOL!! Just kidding man, dim sum is sort like ordering a bunch of appetizers. People come by with carts and you pretty much choose what you want to eat.

I think the one on Atlantic & Garvey (Ocean Star Seafood) is the best choice since there is plenty of parking around the area. Been there a couple times and I think it's good.

Should we start a new thread with Saturday May 7th at Ocean Star as the official dim sum date?

 

Thanks for the info....That actually sounds great. I just get looked at funny whenever I step into traditional resturants like in K-Town, Chinatown, Sushi place or even when I go to Little India. I dont mind them looking at me like i am an outsider if the food is good. I just like suprising the staff when I order something an outsider wouldnt!

If I'm welcomed I will attend! Just let me pull that Z withing a few weeks and I am their!
