I would like to setup a Dyno Day in the coming weeks. We can get the L.A.P.D. facility in Chatsworth for the entire day, 8:00am to 4:00pm. The cost would be $50 and we would need 20 cars. They are great guys there and have a large facility, including a break area for food and beverages.

I would like to do this on Sat. July, 30th or Sat. Aug 6th.

I hope that we can get 20 people.

Just to clarify something, so as not to confuse anyone. It is not "THE" LAPD. It is Los Angeles Performance Division. The are a full service shop with a dyno. They specialize in corvettes. Good place.

 

Didn't even realize there was a dyno shop there. Dynojet? Dynapack? A/F extra?

It looks like there are not going to be enough people in time for the dates above. I would like to get more people signed up and push the date forward. Come on people, let's Dyno in mid August!!

how many runs do we get....i'd like to get some mods and dyno them to compare baseline and modded...just usual straight basic n/a stuff: intake, plenum or spacer, and exhaust...

 

There is no set amount of runs. We will determine the amount based on the time and people. We get their dyno all day long. They want 20 cars, so I figure we will max out there, at 20. We have 8 hours to get as many runs as we can.

 

Sounds like they want $1,000 for the day. Maybe we can get 10 people at $100 each, or $15 people at $75 each!

Just an idea.

 

I had thought about that, too. I can check on it.
