I got my Z back!! I didnt realize that I had such "seperation anxiety" untill they pulled it up from the back of the lot and all the salesmen crowded around it to check it out. I thought "now THATS what Im talking about." I guess it was meant to be...=) The way that I look at it is that I got to drive around a brand new truck for the weekend for free, they even filled the tank up for me when I supposedly bought it on friday. All in all, Im glad to get my Z back and I have decided that as much of a pain in the a$$ these cars are sometimes, ultimately it is well worth it. Hell, I didnt even have any chicks checking me out when I was rollin the Yukon (probably because there are a bazillion of them on the road) but in the Z I get stares galore!! My favorite stare, and no Im not gay, is actually when 2 guys are on the freeway next to me and the one who spots the Z nudges the other one....they ineveitably give a thumbs up, head nod, or "nice car."

Brian (is happy he has his baby back and didnt know what the **** he was thinking in the first place)

Tell the dealership you're charging them a 15% restocking fee on your Z.

Congrats on getting your car back -- you can always buy an SUV later. Just take out a home equity loan in a year or something...

Cutie update!! While at lunch today, I met 2 other cuties trying to sell me knockoff cologne. Well, I ended up buying some, then invited them out to my housewarming party. I told them that my car club would be there, people would be taking pics with the cars....ect

So, add 2 more

Some of the earlier posters need to post again; looks like some of the names got dropped by accident.

Ok, the date is approaching in a couple weeks and I need some help with something. Do we have any master barbeque chefs that will be attending (or shadetree ones..lol)?? The reason that I ask is bacause while I would love to be the grill man, I will probably have my hands full with several other things having to do with entertaining. So if anyone can show up a bit early to "man the grill" I would really appreciate it...=)

What Jon is talking about is...well...hmmm.
Well, my Z had the tranny replaced twice before I recently noticed a 6th gear grind about once a day. So, today I did the unthinkable and traded my Z in. I had a lot of great times in that car and have met a lot of really great people, but all things must come to an end. I was at first going to part out my mods and return the car to stock, but I decided to see what a dealership would give me first. I can talk pretty mad game and actually got a pretty decent trade in price on my '03 touring ($27,000) with the mods that I only paid about 4k for total. So I did it, and I am now a proud owner of a brand new '05 GMC Yukon. The truck right now just fits my needs a little better. I am a drummer so I can actually haul my gear around in it. My 9-5 is in the insurance industry and I am often times a field rep so not having to shift between 1st and 2nd gear for 30 miles up and down the 405fwy works out as well. I will continue to post on this board because I have made a lot of friends here!! As for my new SUV....let the games begin!! Im planning on dubbing it, bagging it, and putting a grip of other digital kid gear in it.

I look forward to seeing all of you out at my housewarming party on the 7th...and who knows, maybe another Z is in my future (but a 5at roadster this time)!!
zboy is a def maybe.
