I might be there, but chances are I have to work. Then again, I am getting sick of getting 14.6 consistently. I run with pretty much close to the full weight of the Z.

Call me if you go. I couldn't get better than a 15.2 at LACR but I beat a coupe that day.

May the boost gods steer you from knock and ping. So your car is healthy now?

car runs perfect, hopefully getting my line lock installed very soon
I hit 92 mph at Irwindale at the 1/8 mile last week, so we know it has 11's in it even though I don't expect any better than mid to low 12's this friday. If I can get a decent burnout and hook up...IGOTTAZ is the only other 350Z there and he just had his greddy tt fuel injectors upgraded so it'll be the battle of the twins
I'll have my helmet cam up and running as well so there will be some inside video footage as well

let me know how you guys do...

on stock rubber i wasnt doing well either...a 14.6 @ 97.8 with a 2.88 60' was my best when I went and dragged... I felt like i just sat there and spun and spun... i know i can do at least 5 tenths of a second faster if i had good rubber... maybe even better... i would hope i could get a 1.8 or 2.0 60' and that would drop me to high 13's which would make me a happy guy...

It's your 19" blings blings slowing you down. You might want to switch out to the 17" sucktenza's (well they suck, but at least you might get better times if traction doesn't get to you first).

I should be able to make CSW, but not planning to run.........(okay, maybe one to show off)

What is the altitude at Cali speedway? The best I can do was a 15.0 at LACR. How much is it to race and what time does racing start? Thanks

it's about 2200 feet, it's much better than LACR not great but better.

you need to be there latest at noon or you won't get in. It's $20 to raise.
Raising starts at 4 (maybe 3) and ends at 11

Actually, CSW is 1,127 feet. The air quality, humity, and high temps make it close to 4,000 + feet. In the cooler days you can trap as high as 100 granny shifting (I did that in March, just it was soo cold I had no traction).

I think Charlie is running 19" with small rears (I think it's 245's). I think there is a difference when you run wider rears.

FLZ_Boy - Yes The Altitude is correct.
The Temp changes the Density Altitude.

Like the guy that tried to take off ( Air Plane ) from Big Bear Airport last week
when the temps were 8000'foot density altitude. Duh ! Temps at 6000' Foot were 102F.

By the way he crashed, but no one killed.

Cheers Amy -

I forgot to add the smog, headwind, and traction are also factors.

Yeah I could only manage 14.6 at LACR but it was literally my first time ever drag'in. And that was before my mods and on stock tires....hmmmm.
