What's worse is the cops aren't going to do anything to these guys... they haven't even sent anyone to question them and don't know when a detective will be available to look into it ?

I'm not one for revenge... but if anyone can check out the plates:

California: 5T78844 Beige 98 Chevy S10

Owners name was David xxxxx

Any info?

I'll looking into this too. I have some retired officers at work with help inside (CHP).

Contact the DMV.
You need proof of ins to register your vehicle so the DMV should have it.

Wait a sec. That's crazy. Similar thing happened to my Z, also in SoCal... THAT SAME NIGHT!

In Hawthorne approx 2AM of Sunday Sept 18. Likely a bat or lug wrench to the rear glass, slashed car cover (though friends speculate that was what made them do it in the first place), slashed paint, slashed LR tire. Have pictures; don't know how to post.

You know, in a way I'm glad I didn't see them do it. There'd be chalk outlines, and I'd be in prison!

hahah... problem w/ that is that would likely mean most of your family and households surrounding your own house would probably be gone!

My damage (by my own figures) come up to about $1600, not including replacement transportation.

that is just horrble, I just don't understand people these days.

Catch these guys and ship them to the front lines in Iraq...maybe then they'll respect life and beings a bit more and hopefully it'll save the lifes of some good soldiers

We should pull a drive-by on those fcukrs.

I always have my windows tinted so they will not splatter all over in case it breaks.

Hey bro these dirt bags are lucky I was not there....I would have pulled them outta the car and beat the **** outta them. I think the only thing that would have stopped me would have been it was by your house...

It was a random hit. First time I parked in that neighborhood. Never again!!
Ditto.

That is ****ed up.

Course I've been keyed 3 times, hit by another car while parked twice, and caught a kid sitting on my hood with a chain wallet...

I HATE these ****ers. I ****ing work my *** off for my car, and they disrespect me by messing with it.

Damn this totally sucks ***!!!!

I'm usually in Riverside during the weekends. My got a house in Sycamore Highlands and sometimes park my car outside. The neighbor is pretty nice but unfortunately we get alot of crime too. My neighbor is a sargent for the LAPD and get his **** jacked all the time (plants, benches, mats)

I better keep my car garaged from now on.

Man, it hurt to see your car at the Turbonetics meet. (I'm assuming it was yours, unless someone else got their window knocked out) Hope you get these guys.
