i think the most we have had at an event was 6 or 7..hope we can top that at the next one.

 

i so want to go to the next event. I think i'll show up though just to watch though. Can I meet up with some of you guys and roll out with you?


Also, when you guys go through multiple tires. Do you have extra wheels or are you just brining the tires and mounting them on your down time???


Ohhh, i also looked everywhere how much is it to run at the event?

 

well, i am leaving my house around 5:40ish to get there. hatebobbarker lives in riverside and you could meet up with him probably. but its kinda early and i dont know if you wanted to get there in the morning.

we bring an extra set in our cars. basically, i drive there, dismount and mount tires, and then dismount and mount my get home tires after the event.

cost is 105+paypal fees, so around $110.

How do you think I felt back at DD9 in Nov. 2002? Most of the people there hadn't even seen the "new" 350Z yet, I was already on my 3'rd set of rear tires with less than 1,500 miles on the car (including the 300 miles driving out to Vegas)

It feels like a long time... glad to see more people out there with the Z! It's such a fun car !!!

Do you guys run used tires? I'm assuming that would be the smarter thing to do. If so, i'm going to buy some used tires and next event i'll be out for sure.

 

hummm, i run brand new or practically new tires at each event. maybe tires that have been driven on for less than 300 miles or so. i pace myself throughout the day and i just barely make it to 3pm.
