Were you able to get the Stillen S/C installed that day? Sounds like we might need another dyno day if that is so.

Btw, those are some nice numbers for just a jwt/nismo combo. My nismo exhaust is getting installed today so I will have the same setup as you.

Yes, the supercharger is getting installed this week! I plan to take it back to the same place in a couple of weeks to see what kind of gains I will get.

When I got home that same day I noticed a wierd sound from under my car and took it to a shop. The noise was a result of a thumb sized hole from one of my cats. I wonder if this hole had anything to do with my lousy dyno numbers.....anyone

That would account for the idle drop problem. Thumb size hole seems big enough to make a loud open header type of sound that wasnt heard. If it was that big of a whole your dyno numbers would def suffer. Gas leaks make your fuel system act funny to compensate for the additional air.

dood, that's got everything to do with dyno numbers, cuz, you'll lose more than if you were stock. Let's say you have 10hp from your stock exhaust. You'll have 5 with a cats with a hole and 15 with cats without a hole... which basically means you're losing 10 hp..

Everyones talking about high #s from this dyno but whos to say the other one isnt low. I mean the Porche seemed to be on par with realistic #s and his mods and all. Also 255RWHP with 287hp(at the crank) sounds alot more accurate than 220rwhp with 287 at the crank. That would be more than a 23% loss through the drive train and with a Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft it seems like we should be getting less than the average 15% loss not more. I think a 12% or 13% loss sounds more realistic than a 23% or 24% loss in a Z. Its not like we are AWD or anything. Also I would think the dyno would compensate for the lack of wheels and calculate the totals accordingly. I dont really know though so feel free to flame on. Im goin back there for all my dyno runs though.
