hfm and i are thinking about doing angeles crest this weekend. either saturday or sunday, around 11 or so.

i know you said you live in the imperial valley? redlands? so that is far from you, but just wanted to let you know.

if you can't make that, there is going to be a neptune's net run in march with a latigo canyon drive (out in malibu/PCH). that one should be tight.

would love to see the sunset in person. haven't yet.

Hey Iris, Masta can't make it. He wants to polish sometime with Zaino and gave us a dark warning about the fuzz. I'll let you know if I hear back from anyone.

That OC mega meet is sounding good tho in Feb - I can't commit to a whole day event with the run, but the round up somewheres for hang out and pictures afterwards sounds great. =)

And yes "the carrot" is very tasty =) (and she's going to get nice and shiny this weekend...Zaino time)

 

hfm & iris, I'm gonna try and pick up the zaino kit this week (key word is "try")... lemme know if you guys wanna zaino your rides together... I've never done it... but would prefer to have a place where a few of us could get together and take our time cause I understand that it takes awhile the first time around... really wanna get at least the first coat on before the OC meet.

 

i'm in for the zaino. how many products again? (am too busy/lazy to search for the thread right now). i'll meet you wherever you want to do it. My place doesn't have a driveway or good street parking, especially not for 2 or 3 cars, so it's not a good place to do it. can you pick me up a kit too? you know i'm good for it.

 

I got my zaino from Ira a week before our last meet. He's very cool -- gave me lots of good tips. I've only had time to put on a single coat, i'm looking to redo it soon. A wash meet sounds good, but where?

okay... so it's not really a "kit" per se... but talked to Ira... very cool guy and gonna try and pick up whatever he recommends.

 

I paid about $100 for the ZFX, Z2 & Z5, polish applicator, Wash, Clay bar, Gloss Spray, and some sweet cotton wash mits he and his wife made.
