I was talking with a few members here on a possible detail day of our cars. I got a few members interested in the idea of doing a total exterior overhaul. The day would include a possible clay job of the exterior for those who need it. The other idea is only using Meguiar's Speed glaze ( polisher / cleaner ) and some NXT Tech Wax using the Meg's DA polisher. The problem we had was finding a ideal place to do this with enough room for everyone. I can only have about 3 cars max over at my parents place but we would need to wash our cars before the meet so not to use so much water not to mention in some cities it is a violation to wash your car at home. So we need to find a place to host this meet with enough room for everyone to work with. I also want to stress that we need to chip in for the products to use so we can have enough for everyone. I can supply the polishing machine and one bottle of the speed glaze cleaner. I think Mikeg8R also has another polisher so we can have two polishers to get the job done. The NXT tech wax can be found at any auto supply store but also Super Autobacs has most of everything we need for the job. I also can get the cleaner wax and tech wax online before the meet. So check my thread below and also a few threads on other cars using the polisher and the products listed above

Ed, I haven't heard from Meguiars yet about my order. I keep forgetting to call them :\
I claybared and hand cleaned with scratchX yesterday and was impressed with the results, it took down those scratches a lot. I only did the boot and bonnet, but it was still a killer on my back plus it took me about 3 hours total. I'm feeling it today. I can't wait to get the D/A polisher.

hey ed, if you really want your car done right, you would probably benifit from the DA polish compund itself.
http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-cleaner...Cleaner-Polish
it adds alot of time to your work, but the results will be apparent compared to just using the DA with nxt wax.
