Hey all,
For those in the Downtown and San Fernando Valley areas, LAPD is hosting an Open House for it's 9-1-1 Dispatch Centers. You will get to tour the dispatch center and see how a 9-1-1 call is handled from start to finish.

The free tours will be conducted all-day and well into the evening. Photo ID is required to enter the 9-1-1 centers. Refreshments will be provided.

If my typing speed was better I'd apply but I may be interested in the open house. I was already in the LAPD academy but I suffered a dislocated knee and had to drop out and if I would go back I have to redo a bunch of stuff. I'm still trying to get in.....
