I got my windows tinted at Super Autobacs in Stanton. Solargard tint, with lifetime warranty. I got limo (6%) in the rear hatch window and the rear quarter windows, and 38% on the two front side windows. Looks great, quality is awesome, and I haven't run into any trouble from the Police.

Just got mine tinted last week, went 20% all around and I'm really diggin it. It helped kill alot of the heat (Alabama summers are intense) and I can still see fine while backing up. IMO Llumar tint is the best stuff out there. They use all metallic film as opposed to dyed film which will fade, hence the purply looking tint.

No. I didn't have my sindshield done. If you go really light you can get away with it. But go too dark and it's too obvious.

20% will do that for ya. My only issue with 20% is that at night it can be tough to see. My wife's car has 20% and from the outside you can't see in at all...and when I drive it at night you basically just have to specks of light to determine stuff behind you. lol

go 20% IMO, anything lighter and you'll be wishing it was darker, anything darker and you can't see out of the car (or in it). I'm still diggin mine (20%) and have no trouble at all seeing at night. Regardless what shade you go with, it'll make a huge difference and gives a cool privacy feeling when driving.

Same feelings, I need some tint on my Z also.

I would go for the 20% but I don't want to have trouble looking out the window to lane change or while im backing up or some shiz.

How does the 25% or 35% work out?

Feedback.

25% is almost non existant, I had to choose either 20 or 30 and went 20. I seriously have no trouble whatsoever seeing out when backing up, changing lanes, etc. day or night. Like I said, though, either way you'll love it.

in my previous car i had limo (5%...but ended up testing 4% when cops came) tint and it wasnt hard to see out of it...you just get used to it after a while. anyways it was a black car so it looked really good, even though it accumulated about $300 worth of tickets (youd be surprised how much those tickets are around here). in the end it looked good, but the cops slowly made me regret it.

Just got 20% tints on the back and sides, and loving it. For the back hatch window I don't recommend going darker than 20 in order to maintain good visibility, since it is already darker than the other window due to the slant.

Went to a small place a couple of blocks from where I live, but they did a bang up job for $170. It is with 3M film and guaranteed for life not to fade or change color. They even offered to take off the front ones if I ever get a ticket for free.

^^^ That does look good.

Another trick that I have done is to cover the silver on the strutbar. I bought some fabric and covered just the silver part so I no longer get the bright Z reflection in the rearview or on the back window. I think it makes the back look WAY darker from the outside. I can try to snap a pic this weekend if anyone is interested.
