I reset the trip miles and time on the Z and according to that I spent 11 hours behind the wheel and drove 678 miles back to Palm Desert. I am extremely tired but I had fun today. Damn that looked like fun! Wish I made the ride on this one...

BTW, were those ID tags I saw in the first set of pics? If so, that was a pretty good idea...

edit: oh yeah... sweet Iris, sweet! Oh, and the Caymen is awesome also...

Love the pics, but what I notice at most meets is pics of Z's. While I get the reason behind getting together, as we all share the same love, but it seems like not enough pictures are taken of members.

It would be nice to see more faces, and then have someone place names with them, so we know who's who. I've been to meets, not introducing myself to everyone, nor others doing the same, and then driving off wondering who the hell those people were.

Anyone.....?

Unless a big effort is made, it's hard to even say hello to everyone when there is a group of 20+. A So. Cal. year book with name/pic/forum name would be very helpful to remember who is who. Me, I just try to muddle through with names because there are always new people. Heck, sometime I have difficulty with some of the old timers (early stages of Alzheimer's or simply too much booze).

Joanne, just keep showing up at meets and the names start sticking.

Dan (just kidding Jen)

Thanks for all the pics guys. I cruised up to Santa Barbara with a group of Z's but I didn't really know anybody in there, so I ended up turning around with a red Z. Sorry Brian and Mike that I didn't get a chance to eat lunch with you at SB. We should've exchanged phone numbers, I forgot to ask.

Good one Dan....before I noticed the "just kidding Jen", my jaw dropped for a sec! I was like....Joanne? I'm gonna kill him.....! Jen's a little hystrung and hysterical!...Neurotic too...

So, MODS, is Dan's great idea doable? Not just for SoCalers, but everyone?

I've got lots of pics but will post them tomorrow.
Nice seeing everyone again.

Amit, perfect timing on meeting up with us around Santa Barbara, huh!?

Mike what was up with that RSX on the 405 going home? Seemed like he wantd to race in traffic, what a dip sh%t!!
Can't wait for the next meet.
Hahah...yeah! I was pretty much at cruising speed when I looked up in my rearview mirror and saw what I thought were 350Z headlights. Then as you were pulling up to the right of me, I noticed 2 more sets of 350Z headlights and knew it had to be someone from the meet! hahah. I tried to keep up with you guys then and at one point some a-hole driver in a Lexus LX470 proceeded to cut me off! Some people need to learn how to drive!

Anyways, it was a great turnout. I'm still tired, but I'll post a picture that I think many of us will remember:

^^ that damn Matrix woulldn't let up! One of the many stupid drivers on the road...

One of the cooler drivers. He gave us a nod of approval so we took a picture.

More pix to come later.
