Seems like everyone likes the weekend. However....

1. Weekday = less people = less lines = more rides
2. Waiting for school to start = less kids(#1) + better temperatures

Just some food for thought

Yes, but I would assume most people work, and cannot just take a day off. Therefore, weekends will be the preferred choice.

School starts first week of September right? Perhaps the second or third week of September might be better because there will be less kids. And, it should be cooler by then too.

I'll wait for more replies but, so far, a weekend early or mid-September sounds like good timing.

Agreed most people work. I have plenty of vacation time, and would certainly take a day off to go out when we could have free reign on the park.

Anyway, if it has to be a weekend, one would think Sundays would be less crowded. Also, waiting till right after school starts would probably still be a good idea. It's bloody hot out there in the desert! What about Sept 17th? give it some time to cool down?

I'm pretty sure that they're not open during the week once school (middle/high) starts except for holidays, because:
1. They know most of the people who go are in this age group and there's no point in opening the whole park for the few hundreds of people who will go during the week.
2. A lot of their employees are also back in school so they won't have enough people to work there.

Made a quick phone call.

First week of September, open the whole week. From then on, it's Friday, Saturday or Sunday only.

At the window, an individual ticket is $59.99. At the window, a group rate for 10 or more is $30.00. Ordering in advance by credit card at least 3 days prior, the group rate for 10 or more is $25.00.

I'm willing to get tickets for a group of 10 fronting the $250.00 and getting paid at the park. Or, I could front everyone if people would like to Paypal me. Or, we could just pay $30 at the park when we have our group together. The first or last options seem to be the easiest and most hassle free options. But, with the first option, there is a risk that a small group outside of the 10 I buy will not have enough people for a group rate unless there are more than 20 people. Sorry if that's confusing.

Maybe the last option is best. Yeah, upon further thought, the last option is the easiest and best solution. We all get in for half-price and there's no concern about missing persons or people getting left out of group rate.

At any rate, looks like this will be a weekend thing. At the beginning of August, we'll narrow down the day.

$30 option sounds good. I will bring at least 3 people including myself, so I think the group buy at the gate is the best idea. Buying in advance for such a large group will be a bit risky, since a lot of people who sign up for these things might not show.

Hey JimRHIT, I hope you show since I am looking for some advice on upgrading my sound system. I haven't the faintest clue on how to properly upgrade my stereo. I'd like to see what you've done and get some input.

Since it looks that it's going to be on a weekend; Saturday or Sunday?
