Actually... I'm not feeling this thing much anymore... Thinking about a bunch of younger guys who are typical of riced out cars... packed into a movie theatre...

Arrg... I think I'll pass. Anyone want my slot?

Also, anyone wanna do our own 350Z thing down together to the movies? For $5, you can pay for valet, and park it yourself next to D&B. I do that all the time, and nobody is parked next to you. Your car is TOTALLY safe. Just the thought of under 21 folks in their gangster/raver attire hollering throughout the movie makes me shudder...

Thats why I never really even considered this. I've already got worries about kids driving crazy/stupid the week of the film's release.

Thanks for the heads up and letting someone else take your slot. The age crowd is not to be worried, most of the attendees are S2000 owners, and I personally know most of them.

Don't be surprised to see a 2-3 police escort from point A to Point B. The city of Irvine is well aware of the situation, and I done meets this big before with no troubles. We officially have the city of Irvine Support.

If you decide to have a change of heart, just post here and let me know by tomorrow.

Thanks for letting us know ahead. Hope to see you come.

I'm assuming that post is directed to me.

There is no need to "defend" anyone or anything. Just shows how immature you are taking my post... because Backcracker was fine and cordial about my comment. So you relax.

If someone who's 50 years old didn't want to go to this thing because it was gonna be a bunch of younger guys... is he "on a high horse or too good for it" like you say? No, it's just not his bread and butter... and I'm just saying it's not MINE either.

Next time you misunderstand my post, please feel free to PM me for an explanation...

its the way you said it
you pretty much called it a rice festival.
and im not being immature, im being shortfused
all the s2ki guys ive met have been really nice including several of the T.I.T.S. guys so when they are working hard to organize something and your calling it an event for "a bunch of younger guys who are typical of riced out cars." and you know what i do take offense also because of my youth, im not ashamed of it.

If we want to do our own 350z viewing of the Fast and Furious.

May I recommend see the movie in my neck of the woods. The theather is always empty as well as the parking lot so we can safely park all the cars together and away from others.

Regal Theaters in Rolling Hills Estates. BTW all the screens are digital.

Point taken. Well, it's a good thing u are not ashamed of your age. I know the S2K guys are cool. Check out my age at S2ki.com forums. I been there for over a year now. I've talked to several members there, and have gotten along just fine. I've been checking the list of cars coming. Yes, like 50 or 60% of them are S2k's... but the other parts are made up probably like this. 10% Z's, NSX, Porsche, etc... and 30% Jettas, Eclipse, Civic, Accord, Integra, etc... Don't get me wrong... I used to drive a SLAMMED 1996 Civic with exhaust and stickers in my college days... And although I'm sure everyone will be cool/cordial to each other... I've met my share of bad ricers.

On top of that, I don't want to have to WAIT in a long line of cars, make my date wear a wristband, watch a movie with 120 younger generation car enthusiasts who will HOLLER and HOOT when their favorite car comes out, etc. etc.

When I asked if any of the 350z'ers wanna do our own thing... I meant it to be small, and was generally targeted to the people I met recently at the Sunset Club event. I liked them, they seem like a FUN bunch, and YES we got drunk together... I didn't mean "yea let's have a 350Z thing, while excluding G35's and RSX's..."

Lately, I've seen so many non 350Z'ers on this board (which happens to be titled MY350Z.COM) get upset cause they feel left out. So everytime I want to have a meet, should I say "Orange County 350Z Meet with G35c, 280z, and few other cars"??? This is a 350Z board... the meets will be designed around 350Z's, and we may even call it a 350Z event. You are welcome to come, but don't feel excluded.

I already explained in my previous post that I wasn't trying to make the Z's "come out as a bunch of elitists"...

Then again... why the **** should I give a damn what you think? Think what you want... I don't want to explain myself twice for your misinterpretation.

[lights candle]

MKZ: "Hi my name is MastaKillaZ... and I'm an *******."

Audience: "HI MASTAKILLAZ!!!"

MKZ: "I've been an ******* as long as I can remember... I've always felt the need to be an ******* and just can't seem to function without it. It's taken over my life... I'm an ******* when I wake up, I'm an ******* throughout the day, and I can't fall asleep without being an *******. But finding out that there are ******** out there just like me, really helps me take life one day at a time... "

p.s.

hfm can tell you I'm an *******... BTW, thanks for the perpetual flip off at BJ's...

and that's my good side...
