guys i got stuck in the midwest storm...also had my front bumper wrecked by a giant chunk of ice that fell off of a truck i will post pics later..most likely will be in town on sunday

Well I did something this morning that I haven't done in a long time. Ever since I sold my FD a year ago. I woke up this morning a little bit early. I didn't have to be at work till 1pm. So I was oh well let me get some x-mas shopping out of the way. So I took care of that. On my way back to the base. I decided to make a left turn to PCH south instead of going in the base. I was going to go cruise PCH for a little bit then eat lunch at Neptunes Net. Well I went down some canyons roads to see how the Z does. I took some roads (I had no idea were I was going) and had some fun with the Z, I ended up in the 101 in Argura Hills. Some good spot for some picture action (wish I had the camera with me), found some tunnels that were awesome. But I enjoyed my morning. I didn't go fast or slow, just enought to enjoy my music blasting and be careful since I didn't know the road. but deffently something I would like to do again. I usually did this on meets but never did it out of the blue, at least in one year.

Hey I have a cruise/lunch scheduled with a few old fellas of mine from my old RX-8 community. I wanted to see if any of you wanted to joint in. If you do decide to go, I don't want this to turn into a my car is better than your crap. We don't race or act like kids. We do it for the pleasure of driving our cars and sharing with other car enthusiast. Is a full day event pretty much. We start by meeting at a Mcdonalds parking lot in Calabasa. We cruise in the canyons making a few stop and chatting with other car club we run into, usually Ferraris, Lambos and Lotus. Then we head toward PCH and go to dukes for lunch. we used to go to Neptune Nets but waiting in line to eat for over an hour and having to pay for parking got anoying. Then on the way back we go through dexter canyon back to the 101.
