Oh man, I would be sooo down for that!! .... anyone want to loan me some extra wheels and tires? .... its worth a shot... lol.

 

I can rent you a pair of 18" Touring wheels with new Dunlop FM901's for $100. Just return the wheels when you're done with the tires.

Or you can purchase used tires for $30-$50 each at the Used Tire King off the 15 and 60 fwy's at Miliken. You can borrow my spare wheels if you need.

 

That is a damn good offer, I may just take you up on that if I can get work off. Where are you located?

Do you think I would do fine with those touring wheels and tires all day... and then drive home on mine?

 

I'm in Walnut, but I'll have the wheels at the track with me.

You should be OK with the one set but you may end up changing to your regular wheels and using those for the last part of the day.

 

Im not sure if I will be able to get that sunday off work yet on such short notice, but either way I really appreciate the offer. Im hoping to be able to take you up on it!

I may cut the day short if I have to because I dont want to drift on my LMGT4's with almost brand new nitto nt555's .... unfortunately I dont have my stock touring rims anymore... i should buy some stock 17's.

Bug, are you coming to this thing? I have a stock DB front bumper, sides and spoiler, let me know if you need them.

easy, take 5-605N exit live oak(2nd live oak exit as there is a east and west exit) then your there, make a left into the speedway.

How does everyone haul their extra wheels and tires and tools up? Friends with trucks or what?

2 tires
1 crafsman alum jack
1 canopy (10x10)
2 folding chairs
1 cooler, 14"x24"
1 box of tools
1 electric impact wrench
1 helmet


thats usually what i take to drift day, and i have sopme space for odds and ends like wheel chocs and such.

You can fit 4 mounted wheels and tires in the car, two in the passenger seat and two in the rear (must remove OEM spare and carpet).

Yeah, I can sell the bumper, sides and OEM rear wing... they have some scratches from being in storage, nothing too bad though.
