Default Streets of Willow track days - 9/29 & 10/2

Leadfoot Adventures is holding a pair of track days at Streets of Willows on Friday Sept 29th and Monday October 2nd. Registration is only $145 for one day or $270 for both. Registration is now open at motorsportsreg.com.

As at all Leadfoot Adventures track days, breakfast in the morning and bottled water all day are included at no extra charge, as is instruction for all novice drivers. On Friday the course will be run in the counter-clockwise direction and on Monday it'll be reversed and run in the normal clockwise direction. There will be 3 or 4 run groups depending on how many novice, intermediate, and advanced drivers sign up. Expect to get about 2 hours of track time each day, and to leave with a big-*** grin on your face.

Further event details can be found on the Leadfoot Adventures website. See ya at the track !

There's still some time left to take advantage of the $135 / $255 reg special. Price goes up to $145 / $270 on Tuesday the 12th.

No racing or stealing apexes...aka aggressive driving. Safety is the number one thing we push at all our events. We want everyone to not only have a good time, but to leave with their car intact.

Helmit must be worn and must be Snell 2000 or better. Any convertible must have at least stock roll hoops.

Novices will have a driving instructor for each session and are required to attend classroom sessions throughout the day.

Here's some more info:

Right on, Robert, thanx! Hey be sure your RSX buddy puts your name down as the person who referred him so that you get your name in the drawing to win a free track day. There's no limit to the number of entries you can get, so please feel free to spread the word!

If you're riding in a convertible, I would suggest a full face.

We'll also be setting up a discount at a local motel, so stay tuned for details.

Usually at 5:00, though some people bail early and skip their last session or two. It's the time you arrive that's important, not when you leave.

make sure the helmet you get is SA rated and not M rated because most organizations don't let you use motorcycle helmets.

i'm in a convertible and using an open face helmet and it's fine for me. full face is safer though, just hotter and more expensive. if you plan on driving a kart or open cockpit with no windscreen then you have to get a full face.

for full face the bell M2 Pro's are popular. i have the bell mag5 open face.

Julian is correct, an SA2000+ rated helmet is required.

those were the two differnt helmets i was looking at. they seem to be the right price vs performance for a noob like my self

now if i could only find a place that has a show room so i can go and try them on to find the best fit.
