ahh man.. will the new dyno give me off-numbers from the old machine? I've been tracking my gains at churches and wouldn't want the # to be off from the old machine
The whole point of the cross calibration is to make sure they make the same numbers and curve on either machine.
It sucks that a person can't get the same number out of any two machines. Dynos all across the nation produce totally different numbers so far apart it couldn't be attributed to simple car to car variation.
The good news is there will be two dynapacks in So Cal that match.
Really wanted to be there but I had to leave for the Philippines in a hurry. Be back in a couple of weeks. How was the meet? I'll have another set up soon and should be there.
The meet was alright... About half the people who signed up went (which is the norm). It's always good to see the old skoolers and nice to meet new faces.... Would have been cool to see Nismo33, Socal350z, Ed718, L337350, & even wongkeez33... But ya know.... FLAKES!!!!! LOL J/K guys, hopefully the next one....
