Drift showoff was a great event. There was only ONE Honda Civic. And it didn't even drift well either. Everyone just sort of laughed at it, and the crowd was basically dead silent when the guy did his runs (and the participants were also graded on crowd participation) 240SX's dominated the event, along with a good number of Hachi-Roku's, thanks to Socal's CLUB 4AG. It was, of course, a hachi-roku that took first prize, only because the only Lancer-Evo 8 was a professional car with a professional driver, and got voted out because it would've been unfair to let that guy win an amateur competiton. The Japanese drifters messed up 2/4 cars that they imported from Japan, just for this event. -- All the drift cars were 180SX's, and 240SX's, with the exception of the chaser, which I think was an Altezza (it was a Japanese toyota, and it looked like it could've been an Altezza...)
Anyways that's all folks. Peace out!

They set up a racetrack, Autocross-style w/a bunch of cones lining the course. (it'd be alot harder if these were real turns... and alot more cars would get wrecked. The only cars that got messed up were the cars the pros were driving when they cut it too close to the divider. ROFL.
Anyways I wanted to compete, but I was doing video for Live-Sockets entertainment, so I couldn't compete.
