Is anyone going to irwindale this thursday? How much is it to race and what is a good time to get there? I might come up to see what my car can do in the 1/8 before cali speedway on the 28th for some practice. How many runs do you normally get is it 4 like cali speedway or more? Thanks

 

Its $20 to race and $10 for spectators! Track is open at 5pm but if you want to do as many runs as you can get there like at 4:30 so you can go through inspection before the track opens... usually you can get like 3-4 runs right away at that time because most people like to show up when the sun starts to go down like 7pm...... They are pretty stickt there so make sure you wear pants ( NO SHORTS!!!) They will make you go home if your not dressed properly 2 race..... Hope that helps

 

By the way....If i don't go to the Chino Hills meet I'll probably go to Irwindale.... is your car stock? I got a 9.3 back in the day with no bolt ons!!

 

thanks for the info. No my car is not stock it's turbo. I raced my car 1/8 last friday in SD and the best I got was 8.5 spinning through 1st and 2nd. The track @qualcomm is not a well prepped track so I want to see what I can do at irwindale. I heard their track is pretty good.

 

The Track is really good....its always fun to go......
