this looks like it'd be a hell of a lot of fun but i've never 'cruised' before...how's it work, you just follow each other? fast, slow, at one's own speed?

Yes, it's caravan style and generally people don't speed like crazy. It's too easy to attract attention from cops if there's a huge group of modified (and stock) sports cars all going 85mph

Also you should look into getting one of those FRS radios (like motorola talkabout) because most people will have them. Without one, you are totally cut off from any conversation during the cruise which can make it seem boring.

Reason why I am asking, is my buddy lives up in crestline and I drive up there every so often, and was most likely heading up there anyways.
