Much better choice than RX-8. But I thought you wanted car with more civility and back seats??? S2k is even more impractical than Z.

 

s2k's are nice but damn. i just drove one on thursday (ap2) and you have to floor it everywhere you go just to keep up.

our cars may be fat and heavy but at least we have enough tq to move it.

 

+1. It's smaller and less comfortable and slower on the straight and track.

 

lol its just as practical as the Z.... no back seats... and im a small guy so... it doesnt bother me. ahh i dont drive over 40mph on local and 70mph on fwy, so hp and tq is whatevers.... but the droptop.... ahhhhhhh

 

Yea low-end torque is just abysmal...so damn slow. When the VTEC kicks in at 6K it kinda feels like cheap turbo lol
That car's so small too..if you're over 6feet tall good luck getting in.

 

btw, for all of you guys telling me its slower, u guys do know i have 5 points on my license and i drive extremely carefully and safe right? Z is overkill for me right now, i dont need 287hp 237 is just FINE. my friend has one and i borrowed it for saturday.... damn i had some fun with the top down... i think some of you guys will guess what i did.. lol top down + late night + angeles crest + ****=happy eric!

i bet he'll get the s2k. However, be prepared for maintenance on that soft top. Also insurance is way more expensive then the Z. and uh...if i had an s2k, i'd be reving that thing through vtec alot so i'd probably get in more trouble. lol
