hey i know some of you guys have vented hoods, what do you do when you get caught in the rain? im thinking of cutting some pieces of plastic to cover the vents and put 3m stick tape on the backside

just let water in, it doesnt harm anything. Engine heat will probly evaporate it.

hmm, if the vent is on top of the filter, you have these choices, Buy the ARC or Stillen intakes with full heat shield, fabricate something to cover the driver side vent, or fabricate a better heat shield with sheet metal from home depot. If the filter get soaked bad while your street parked and your engine is cold it can ingest water from cold start up.

 

Haha they're not bad by any means. Its just that they pale In comparison to PS2's.
Bridgestone RE-01R's cost around the same. Little better in traction than PS2's but a lot more friskier in the rain.

No, its in good condition, just a couple of spots that need to be polished. Once its clean again it should look GREAT! Yeah, bring the wax if you can. Also, do you still have the mounting instructions from yours? If you do, bring that too.
