I have to wait one more day for my car. Its ready, but Makito couldn't wait long enough for me tonight. Its all good though. Better to let the paint cure for one more day.
Ben, I'll get the stickers for you tomorrow. No worries man.

For real foodies though, there are few other choices to consider, but it will cost you.

Yamashiro is more about the view than the food. The omakase (chef's special) at Matsuhisa is superior. For something a bit more trendy, try Koi, which is also on La Cienega.
For some of the best sushi/japanese food in the nation, try Urasawa. Again, it will cost you.

Matsuhisa is located on La Cienega, across the street from Lawrys and in between Fogo de Chao and the Stinking Rose. This is the original location which isn't all that fancy, but they're supposed to move to an upgraded location across the street from Koi. Haven't been there in awhile, so they may have already moved.
The first two times I went to Matsuhisa, I ordered typical sushi dishes and wasn't impressed, especially for the price. Matsuhisa is more about the fusion dishes. The sea bass with truffles, black cod with miso and Kobe are my favorites.
Matsuhisa has a sister restaurant in malibu called Nobu. There is also a Nobu in Vegas at the Hard Rock. The menu is about the same at all the locations, but the original matsuhisa is supposed to be the best. These restaurants are named after the owner/chef himself, Nobu Matsuhisa.
