yeah the sound does go away, it only ranges from 2k-2.5k then the sound goes away anywhere lower or higher than that range in any gear.

 

I cant go past 3k or it sounds like the world is coming to an end hahaha.

 

sounds like the ordinary test pipe rasp to me but i'm sure u would've known if it was that...

 

haha i know what u mean. test pipes makes the car scream around or after 3k... mine seems to be a little quieter than the others though. i think it's because of my tanabe exhaust (it's more of a quiet exhaust than the others)
