Ok I'm serious...........dump that point and shoot and step up to a DSLR camera. I will be upgrading from my Canon Rebel XTI to a different Canon but keep my lenses. You should really be looking into getting a better camera and taking some interest in that as I think you can really shine in that department. I am like you enjoy taking pictures and such but I never even imagined what I could do with a DSLR camera. The rebel XTI or any starter DSLR can be found cheap but the money spent comes more from the lenses among other accessories. If you already have a DSLR then disregard my post.

I have wanted a DSLR for...the two years I've had this POS. I'm poor, broke, and I've spent whatever money I had on a new laptop and....makeup and impulsive buys.... This p&s is dead though. Bf put it in the sand at the beach on a windy/sandy day. It makes grinding noises and doesn't focus right.

Hmmm well if I do upgrade anytime soon I will let you know and you can pick up the camera body and kit lense from me. The basic rebel XTI package can be picked up cheap nowadayz and it is a great camera or even the Nikons.

haha I think I might get a g9 in the next few months to tide me over, and then I want a 40d down the road.
i agree with ed. you take very good pictures but that p&s has got to be somewhat limited in capabilities and restricts you from taking even better shots.

I just started unlocking the other 90% of my camera playing with the settings beyond just auto. So far I have taken some really good shot but everytime I use my camera I am learning something new. These were taken right when I starting messing with the manual mode. Nothing special just some random shots I took.
