hey guys, should i install the air duct on my car? this is how it would look...

 

jon I don't think it looks as clean with it. It'll be better for performance aspects though. Is your Z tuned? If it is then it won't make much difference having the duct.

 

thats what i was thinking. i have an air scoop from a k&n intake that goes to my popcharger. the duct would just be for looks but it doesn't look right since i have no other unpainted cf parts.

it looks perfect on pauls car though.

 

Yea I say nay on the duct. Plus you have a functional one already anyway.
Paul has JP front bumper which already has integrated duct so it looks like it belongs.

 

if you get the duct, whats going to happen when it rains man.. i guess if you dont mind getting water in there then do it up.
i dont think it looks too bad in person.

 

it takes alot to get rain sucked into an engine literally your filter if you sporting a cold air would have to be submerged to actually get it in the engine


i was probably the 2nd guy on here to have a cf duct besides rick in 2004 and i have a dryer hose connected to my intake which is a nismo cai made into a short ram on a HKS filter which sucks everything up

been rolling 3 years strong

i might throw it on my V2 debating...... because i have a spare, i like it it reminds me of an S2000 J's racing front end and it has function... on your car Jon since its VIP style maybe keep it cleaner probably without it but its all up to you

that lineup was one of the cleanest in our Ktown meets since now 99% of us are modified we slowly gradually progressed into a clean click i feel that the Ktown guys probably have some of the cleaner "daily-driven Z's" in So. Cal in a solid click....

too bad we're missing the Gimp, Hoeward, Knucklez, Rimless Eric, Richie Rich etc..... to complete us
