A bank is not going to give you an Auto loan for $4k, it's not worth it for them since they won't make any interest off you, generally auto loan minimums are about $10k-ish with interest rates anywhere from 6% -7% APR and up for used car.

If anything it'll be a personal loan. And btw 220K miles is beyond high and not worth it. Besides you're going to buy a car with a built motor, but built by who? You don't know what was done, or if it's reliable or not. If anything you'll end up paying for mistakes the guy made building it.
