I go to the one in hong kong plaza too.

Not sure where the little tokyo shabu shabu place is, but if it's the one in diamond plaza, I don't think it's very good. Kind of like a watered down version of the shabu shabu at hong kong plaza.

yes plaza is the plaza up the street on fullerton with "banana bay and bcd"

the little tokyo shabu shabu is in diamond plaza and i think it sucks too.. they dont even use broth for the soup... it's just water!

its actually more like 30-35, but the drive back takes 45, I think traffic goes faster heading out there or something.

no i dont think so... if you want good food i'd go there. if you want food with alcohol, i guess little tokyo it is!

 

my friend just moved back to arcadia so were trying all the ones out there, so far found a good one just called "shabu house" in rosemead i believe. it's pretty decent, they let you get the beef lean which is a huge plus, but also no alcohol.

 

have you guys ever been to "anjin" by south coast plaza or tsuruhashi out in fountain valley? it's not shabu shabu but it's FUUCKING good!

Anjin is awesome....the wait is killer though. It's a japanese BBQ place that is better than any korean bbq that I've had. Haven't tried the one in fountain valley, but I've been told anjin is better.

the one in fountain valley has hot waitresses though. they're smoking hot!

i've had both places several times, and i like the one out in FV better. that's just me though

there are so many local z's we should all go eat somewhere good close by!

 

Saw a Silver Z last night getting onto the 405 S. from fair. Nice clean ride man powder coated rims. Are you another OCC Z? flipped you the peace sign and you gave me one back.

 

Tsuruhashi is unf...ing believable it's so good. Japanese style Korean BBQ. While on the subject of Japanese food, Shin Sen Gumi up and across the street from Tsuruhashi is great as well.

This afternoon, I saw a silver 350Z pointed in the wrong direction on the 241N just before Los Alisos resting against the inside barrier--with airbags deployed and some minor body damage on the passenger side.

I was going the opposite direction and called the police.

At WCN, I saw SolarZ and this one black Z with a Nismo V2 front bumper with a plate that read SickZ33. oh and I met Jeff and Jenny there too.
