Drove out to Rosamond/Lancaster, Friday Morning from 6:00-7:00AM from San Fernando, and back at 5:00-6:20PM

Upon Arrival at the track I did find a PPW, Enthusist, and it happened to be a Corporate Lease, and he works for Consumer Affairs for Nissan.

Apparently he went over to the Streets as I didn't see him the rest of the day and I didn't want to give up any track/research time to visit streets.

Had a great day out there, I was surprised I was the only 350Z out there, there was a 300zx Twin Turbo, it was defintely one of the fastest cars out there.

 

I have an unfortunate sighting to share. While waiting outside 888 Seafood in San Gabriel for dim sum, I saw a DB with chromed out track wheels, some kind of black protection thing on the rear bumper and a big GT-R badge on the back. It was nasty.

 

Whats wrong with my GT-R badge?

Why do people bother putting a Toyota Celica GT-R emblen on a Nissan? I've also seen them on Mustangs. It's just wrong.........

PPW with I'm not sure what kind of kit that is.... MINES? Or Amuse. It had that little opening on the front bumper for the air intake. Sweet ride man!

Drove at Streets of Willow Springs yesterday. Saw 2 Z's. One CS with 18" GT-C's and one SS with black wheels.

The CS was driven by a guy...I think his name was Shin.

The SS has Ontario Canada license plates.

 

5/25/04.... Anaheim St. at HWY 110. Saw a slammed CS Z with bride seats come up. Stopped at the light next to me in my Altima. Had a nice chat with him. Good bumping into ya, jeff (BOBOWAH) today.

 

Super black maybe stock on 405 North around the 605 930 Pm. I think the driver was asian.

 

Wow, saw 4 Zs in less than a mile of driving on the 405N tonight around 5:15. 2 Silverstones, a SB and a Lemans. One in a silverstone performance asked me about my wheels since we were stuck in traffic. Are you on the forums?

Park next to a Redline at Southbay Galleria at around 6:00 PM, saw the owner too, she's gorgeous. I mean the Z. Just kidding even her!!!

 

2 spotted today 5/27 and both at south coast plaza parking structure:

- first one looked like a stock white enthusiast model with splash guards and stock wing. i think it was a girl driver.

- second one was daytona blue touring model with splash guards and stock wing. also had an injen sticker on the driverside fender.

Saw a PPW near SDSU today, and a blue coupe on the 56 today...

 

5/28/04 at about 6:30pm.
Saw a CS with 20 chromies in Downtown on Fig. at 7th.

 

Saw a SB around 1:30 today going south on Topanga around Vanowen. Had a street sceene grill & looked like it had chrome wheels.

 

a cs coupe no license plate on the 5N around 9:30am PST

 

Passed by 2 SS convertibles caravaning(?) in the carpool lane on 10 westbound before 710. One in the front had ladies and the one behind had guys in them. The one in the back seemed to have 20's??
