Caught a glimpse of a LM Sunset with a black roof and a large wing heading north on the 605 in the carpool lane (close to the 5 fwy intersection). He was driving pretty fast so I couldn't get anymore details.

Also met Ed ?skar78? at Performance Nissan on Saturday and checked out his LM Sunset. What's up dude!?

Edit: I spotted the LM Sunset w/ black roof today at about 8:40 a.m.

2 Sightings in a matter of 2 minutes.

1. Going South on Gaffey St. in San Pedro saw a sweet Le Mans with CF hood and nice kit. Caught it on the side of my eye so I didn't get to wave or pick up any more details.

2. Going West (up) 9th St. in San Pedro saw a CS or SS Z coupe with a CF hood, I flashed my lights and waved and you did the same.

Seriously though, I saw another LS on the 405 north today with a guy about 40-45yo driving it. First he was coming up on me, so I slowed down a bit....he didnt even look in my direction when he caught up to me! So, then I go by him, exhaust a blazin....when I slow down to get next to him (I was going to wave) he still didnt even look in my direction!! So, I know its been discussed before, but heres the question. Is it that modded Zs like mine intimidate stock Z drivers, or was he just not cool enough to wave to begin with?

I always love seeing modded Z .. Because I know they will give me a 'wassup' of some sort. There aren't many in my area (north OC). I see tons of Z's .. but not they are almost never enthusiast owners. Usually middle-aged women... >< They would never wave back to an Asian teen. I bet they barely notice I drive a similar car.

 

I cant beleive I havent seen anyone from this board yet around town or anyone that has seen me. Im usually driving around Arcadia-Monrovia to San Dimas. I always see Z's on the 210 FWY but all this older ladies are driving and they look weird back at me if I even smile.

I saw a SB Z this afternoon On Rosemead Blvd turning into Colorado eastbound. Had a Nismo exhaust. I followed you till Michilinda I beleive but man you where trying your hardest to get away from me! LOL. I dont bite!
