Not quite a sighting, but...

I fly for a local news station, here in L.A., I was flying around this evening and heard a call on the police scanners of a police pursuit in the Valley. The police were in pursuit of white "Nissan sports car", driven by a female. The car was apparantly reported stolen. A few minutes later, it was heard that they had lost the vehicle. Another news chopper had just gotten on scene, we were still 10 minutes away, and spotted a white 350Z departing the area and pointed the car out to the police chopper that had just arrived. Well, the female driver apparantly pulled over, this time without incident. We did not get to hear if the vehicle that was pulled over was actually the pursuit vehicle, or not. This was near Parthenia and Sepulveda around 11:00 PM.

Anyone know anything about this?

wow, i cant believe this thread is still going on. I stopped coming on the forum years ago. I got my first Z three years ago, but long story short... i traded the car about a year after I had it, got an suv, missed it so much, I got a roadster last summer. Hope to come out to the events!

Thanks, fun times, Im no longer going to be the youngest one, well I still will most likely. 20 makes me seem so old, but yet so young.

 

PPW Z on the 710 South yesterday 9/14/05 at about 5:30 p.m. w/ tinted windows. We were messing around chasing each other for a few miles. Mid to late 20's anglo driving. I gave him a thumbs up and I got a 'hang loose' sign in return. What's up dude!?

 

CS on the 5 freeway in burbank. Unfriendly. I pulled up next to her and she wouldn't even look over.

 

In Santa Monica, getting on the 10, lunchtime Friday (9/16):
Awesome CS with a roll cage, carbon fiber hatch and plastic rear window, blinkers removed, exhaust, and rims. All I saw was the rear, but it looked super sweet. Dude, if you're reading this, post some pics of your car and what you did to it.

Like the title says, red roadster in the Monrovia area. You have a nismo kit, nismo rims, blacked out taillights, yellow turn signals in the back and I think Stoptechs too. You have a Hot Hot ride dude.

i see you very frequently around. I saw you today at the Pavilions and Wamu's parking lot. Then in the evening on Myrtle going South. Also saw you rcar at Performance once.

 

Yes, you're right. Looking at, it does seem like the same car (see http://land-ho.net/movhost/Andy/ ) It was pretty low, the blinkers were missing (empty holes where they should be), and did not have the stock perf wheels as in the videos. Also a lot more camber on the rear wheels than in the pictures I've been able to find. Looked sweet.

 

Today at Super Autobacs in Stanton a SS Z coupe. Had big chrome Lexani wheels, smoked tails, and assorted stickers.

Sorry man but the Spoon Sports emblem under the Nissan burger in the back NEEDS TO GO! Either that or slap on a Mugen emblem since you seem to be so in to Honda tuners.

Hmmm I can see my tach just fine at Willow Springs raceway...nice monster tach. Please tell me you don't have an auto tranny to go with that tach.

I hardly ever bag on other people's cars but the Spoon emblem just set me off not to mention the heavy chrome wheels with performance parts...confused are we? Racing or pimp'n you decide one. LOL
