Since they're doing midnite launch and getting 100 units in that location,
I was thinking about driving down this afternoon and see if I have a chance.
However, it'll be pretty pointless if there's whole bunch of people already
waiting.
I'm aware that they dont let the lines form till like 8PM, but did anyone
here pass by that Circuit City and saw a lot of crowds?
If there's already a bunch of people it's not worth trying to drive down for me.
If anybody live in that area please fill me in on this=)

Circuit city is the worst store ever!!!Earlier today i visit circuit city to ask about the ps3 and they told me that they won't let me make a line till 10 o'clock. At around 3 pm they tell me the same thing and they told me that they won't make a list. So i hurry home get some food and go to the bank. An hour later i show up and they tell me they have a list already of people, after they had just told me they weren't going to make a list just an hour.
The part that gets me most upset is that the manager had the nerve to curse me out in front of my lil nephew. I for one will never shop there ever again.I'm sorry for this rant im just really upset for the way they treated me.Oh yeah sorry for jacking this thread.

trust me, all of these bids are false. Same thing happened when xbox 360 was released. I was one of the idiots that camped out for 16 hours to get one and when it came time to sell on ebay....nothing but false bidders. Never saw any money, nor did I ever sell it. Just decided to keep it and enjoy. All of this hype I remember happened just 1 year ago....looks like history repeats itself. Besides I work for Sony and I've played the PS3 and I can say, I'm not too impressed compared to my 360. However its still early in the game, so we shall see.

There might be a lot of false bids, but $1000+ profit should definitely be possible. It's not worth waiting 3 days though.

You're from chino hills right. Well I drove by the bestbuy on tuesday night and there was 17 people there already. The CHs bestbuy is getting just 27 PS3s. I was talking to some of them and many are from out of town like LB, torrance, even oxnard. I thought I could drive to a desolate location maybe thursday morning and get a PS3, but there's just no chance if you don't get there early.

If one knows where to look though, I've been told that as of last night some stores with confirmed PS3 delivery still had no lines....

 

Im kinda pissed off. I was at the CC in Torrance. I was probaly number 115. I was there from 1130pm till 630am. Its all good though. I hope all the people that were waiting get a bad batch. HAHA
