Default La Dodgers!

we signed schmidt and lieberthal today. coupled with the signing of pierre and randy wolf, looks like ned colleti is doing a stellar job as GM of dodgers. now we need to trade for manny ramirez!

I hope the Sox don't get rid of Manny. We love him here.... Plus LA will have to give up a lot for him. Theo Epstein is asking for a lot.

Schmidt is a nice pickup, but not sure about lieberthal. Their rookie catcher looks to be shaping up rather nicely. Pierre was overpaid IMO.

Pitching wins games, but they sorely need some power. With the loss of drew, they have they need a solid hitter just to break even at this point. I was reading an article in the LA times, where colletti is getting lots of offers for their young talent, but insiders at the dodgers keep convincing him that they are going to turn into solid major leaguers. They want to win now, but don't really want to trade young talent for older, overpaid players.

Someone mentioned bonds, well that won't happen. Send that guy to the AL league so he can DH and break the records there.

Cubbies for the win:
Soriano
Ramirez
Derosa
Cotts
Lilly

...all you got was Schmidt. Lieberthal....a joke. Pierre couldnt hit a golf ball out of the park and has a noodle for an arm. Not to mention, you lost Lugo, Drew and Maddux.
