So, Glendale ... NO.... West Covina... NO..... OC areas.... F$%^ NO!

If I wanted to buy tools for a small install then I would have done so back in November when I got the intake.
The Chino Hills meets are kinda "Eh!" to me. Plus those are on thursdays right? I'm not getting this done on a weekday.

Anyone who wants a 6'er is gonna get my approval. Just PM me fellas.
I've already had 6 replies.... only 1 or 2 were considerable.
Are you rediculous? all you need is a 10mm socket wrench. Hell, I think you could do it with a monkey wrench if you tried.

dude, just get ONE nut driver and a screw driver.. you DON'T need to take the MAF sensor out.. and just buck up and do it.... damn dude. You want the world for a little 15 minute adventure and $10 worth of tools that you'll need anyways. I couldn't imagine asking someone to install a cone filter and heat shield for me. I'd feel like a putz.

Ever done this on an 06' ? If not then don't bother responding. So simple for someone to say something they no nothing about.

Once again another perfect example of someone who doesn't care to read
I never asked for either a free install, or someone to come to me.

your going to spend a crap load on your car if you mod it.
Please tell me something I don't know.

My only real concern is the heat shield. It seems that several pop charger owners don't use it or have it in an odd position. I believe you have to drill 2 pin sized holes to get it the way the instructions say.

its not necessary to drill the holes into the snorkel to get in the correct position. you can attach it to the rail without it just fine...most people don't bother because its more of a hassle than necessary. The part of the snorkel you would be drilling into is no longer used since you remove the airbox...if you **** this part up (which is very unlikely) it would not make a difference. I just used a zip tie and it worked fine. Honestly dude just look at the instructions and look at your engine...im sure you can see its a very minor modification to make without any risk to your car. If you don't want to do it, any local mechanic can do it, it takes no skills at all...I DID IT!

oh and btw, i have an 06

Darn I wanted to avoid using things like zip ties.
Reminds me of my Celica.... cheap. The bumper was held up by zip ties alone.... very sad indeed.
