Anyone want to meet up after work this Wed 3/14?

I know the Tustin Marketplace and/or Chino Hills meets are Thurs but I like to meet after work and before I head home so South Coast is ideal for me.

I'll probably be there around 5:15PM or so but show up when you can. I figure we can chat a bit and then when it looks like nobody new is coming we can head inside for a drink or three.

Red Robin is on the corner of Bristol and Sunflower (which is about 2-3 stoplights from the 405). There is a Ross right near Red Robin so there's plenty of parking.

Parking isnt ideal there as I recall, there is a small lot in front of TGIF and an underground parking structure behind it. Your best bet is to probably go straight to the underground parking lot if it is crowded.

 

I'll probably make it. No alcohol for me though.

I work across the street -- parking in the front lot is blocked at night (high-end restaurants took over the lot for valet parking). If I can get out of work early enough I'll pop in, but I'm usually working past 8 so not likely... alas.

I hear ya. Anyone who can only stop by for a few mins should. It's a nice way to put faces to screen names for those who haven't met.


Oh, and thanks for the info on the parking.

 

I know that underground/structured parking behind TGIF is pretty steep from what I can remember, for those with lowered cars u might bottom out if not careful. Just a thought.

Any ideas for a better/different parking location around the area?

 

I'm gonna drive by after work to have anothor look at the parking structure and to see the surroundings for maybe alternate parking.

 

UPDATED: New location = Red Robin!


I drove by TGIF and that would have been a nightmare. A block up Bristol @ Sunflower is plaza with a Ross and there's a Red Robin right there. Red Robin serves beer and has easy parking. Problem solved.

lol...Yea drove by after work saw the driveway (steep) , had to U-Turn just to get a second look, then decided not to even attempt going in.

Red Robin is less then 1/4 up the street if any cares to know....

 

And there is also a weekly Wednesday night Nissan meet in Irvine that people can swing to afterwards if they want. It's later like at around 9pm. It's mostly 240SX's, because they started the meet, but I've seen a lot of different cars come and go.

maybe we can meet up at red robins first. and depend on the people that want to go, we can head down to the irvine one together afterwards. Where is the irvine one anyways?

 

The Irvine weekly meet is off of Jeffrey from the 5. We should try to get as many as we can for the Red Robin meet today at 5:30, and we can all go to the Irvine meet together afterwards for a good Z showing.
