The list can go on and on... all the Mega Man games, Legendary Wings, all the Ninja Gaidens, Karnov, Double Dragon, Double Dribble, 10-Yard Fight, 8 Eyes etc. For me, it's damn near impossible to pick a "top 5".

Boneout, don't you know it's impossible to land in Top Gun? LOL... I can do it, but I think it would be impossible to explain over the intrawebz.

HAHAHA, that is an impossible chore to do. and even worse in the 2nd game. there was a thing on youtube called the videogame kid or something and it was funny as hell. he played these and ill have to find it, you have to watch it.

OMG.... I forgot about ninja gaiden!

 

I landed a bunch of times. Refueling I don't remember. Is this the one where you were flying the F-14 and oyu went up against planes like the BlackJack bomber (which I think is an actual Russian Tupolev) and you have to shoot out its orange engines?

 

I think there was a game called 'Tigershark' as well top-down arcade of a fighter during WW2. Great game.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Tecmo Bowl or Tecmo Super Bowl. Best football game ever. Especially if you had the raiders and Bo Jackson.
