I could land about every other try, but they could have made it a little easier. I remember getting really far into the game, beating one of the main enemies only to crash my jet after returning -- game over.

yeah damn that TOP GUN.... and landing i could never do it... i wouldve put top 10 but i think 5 makes you think a bit noone in here any Castlevania fans? when i played part II and it turned dark in the towns when the monsters come out i remember i was in elementary school i would get scared sh*tless playing at night

PSX(Symphony of the Night was da BOMB!) Still doesn't make my top 5 though..I was Japanese RPG nerd LOL

I remember pressing the slo mo button in metroid and using it to hax the continue codes! I remember ending up at deep parts of the game and Samas had not even been able to become a ball!

Megaman 2 was my favorite NES game of all time.
I'm 26 years old, and after what seems like more than 15 years, I STILL remember the code to get to DR. Wiley's stage.
(A1 B2 B4 C1 C5 D1 D3 E3 E5)
Our list is about the same sans Castlevania. I was too much of a wuss to play those games by myself.

2 was pretty sweet also...more rpg elements like Symphony of the night (one of my top games of all time, and i'm a hardcore gamer)

Oh, and bases loaded and MLB were cool baseball games. and California games and T&C surf design was the ****. and skate or die.
