I will try. With a new rear diffuser at least 6 weeks away, I am not feeling happy.

Ugh, those are the worst. I hit one near Savannah a few years ago that reaked havoc on my front end, and another one in NoVA that cracked my bumper, broke my axle (FWD car), and forced up the front left fender.

Truck retreads should be prohibited - definitely a huge safety comprisor on the roads. I actually saw an accident a few years ago where the tread flew into the windshield of a MB and she lost control of the car, hit the center concrete median, flipped over it and took out an oncoming car. She didn't make it and of course the truck kept on driving. Also amazing how strict all the littering laws are, yet there's no finger being pointed at the trucking industry. Hmmmm...

Damn.... my Z and I offer our condolences.

We endured a similar situation last October on the 71fwy (by the Chino Hills GTG). A big rig blew its tire just as we were going to pass them up. I had traffic on my left so I couldn't change lanes nor swerve... all we can do is take the hit!

Needless to say the front end got damaged, but not as bad as you have described yours. However, we took the worst hit on the exhaust as the 5ft strand of truck tire got jambed underneath and litterally tuged on my exhaust until my test pipes and y-pipe broke off, causing my rear bumper to rip-off onto oncoming traffic. Not a perty sight nor experience.....

The truck line took liability and paid for everything to get replaced and repaired. But late at night I can still hear my Z rumble as it has nightmares about that incident...

I saw that you work with aftermarket parts/accessories but where exactly do you work?
