hahaha this isn't anywhere near as harsh as the replies that you would have gotten if you posted in the correct forum. (forced induction forum)

Any TT? You mean one Nissan made OEM? (Z32, Skyline, etc.) I see Z32s walk Poopras all the time. One can say the converse is true, but most Poopras don't come out to play, as they're stuck on the dyno with their crowns.

I raced a Murcielago in Hollywood the other night. I lost. Mainly because I was sleepy and forgot to shift up until I hit the limiter. Also because it was a Murcielago.

Mickey Thompson makes a few DRs that are quite streetable with increased pressure. That's what a handfull of the high HP Z32TTs run, then just lower it down for the strip.

So now all of a sudden streetable Z32's are hitting 8's on stock transmission and rear end? I don't think so buddy. Leave the high hp levels for the big boys.

Maybe (hopefully) you and your Supra-crew are different, and if that's the case, than I offer my utmost respect. I appreciate Supras, and almost bought a single-turbo myself about 2 years ago.

Maybe it's all about volume of Supras, and the percentage of THOSE that make significant modifications. They end up being few and far between, yet we all hear about them. I know that 8s street Supras exist, with 9s and 10s quite common, however, in the approximate 25-30 drag events I've attended, I've never seen a Supra run lower than an 11.8s 1320'. That guy in particular, claimed to make 650whp. Conversely, I personally know 2 street Z32s running 9s and quite-the-many in the 10s. 11s are common, even on stock turbos. High HP and streetability are always a balance, that I won't argue. I see you are in Glendale - do you ever go to the Private Track Days with the Viper Club? If not, you should (and I could invite you for the next one). Cars that run 12s are slow.

EDIT: Here is one of the street Z32s (doesn't even change his tires) that goes to the Socal events: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zcJU7bBLrQ
