It was very nice meeting all the Z's last night. It was cool to be able to meet the people from this forum.

I'm picking-up my Z tonight and I'm hoping there's no imperfections like paint overspray etc... I won't be driving it home if i see even tiny scratches on my mudguards lol... but yeah seriously man...

BAD NEWS: I checked my '07 Z tonight and let me tell you... I felt like punching myself in the face ... There was a lot of swirl marks and weird stuff on the exterior... That was enough for me not to drive it back home. Not to mention that my hatch looks a bit darker now than the rest of the exterior parts. I left and went home really mad, with that being said i don't want it back at all no matter what they do -try to clean it, buff out those weird scratches on my rear bumper etc. Frank & my Sale Advisor knew i wasn't happy at all. I'm meeting up w/ Jeff@WestCovinaNissan tomorrow morning and possibly the V.P. of WestCovinaNissan or the GM whoever...

I'm really thankful though that WestCovinaNissan is still trying their best to keep the car in "Brand New" condition (just got a call from my advisor, while typing this). Telling me that the Z had been washed and waxed "again".

Many Thanks to Jeff, Roberto and Frank @West Covina Nissan for all their hardwork trying to work w/ me but unfortunately i'm not happy at all w/ the outcome.

-1 for the BodyShop that made "that" 'Brand New '07 Z looks like a used car thats been sitting on the lot for months.

Sorry for the long rant. I might be Z'less for awhile

that is not cool at all. paints never the same for our Z's when it comes to re-painting to get back the OEM look. its just not the same. u're taking the whole situation pretty well. at least u're getting to speak with the heads of the whole thing so hopefully they'll give u a new car. i wouldnt see why it would be a problem. u only had it for less than a day anyways. im sure they got another blue Z back there for u.

 

WCN uses "seidners collision repair". Never take your car there, from experience. They painted my rear bumper after performance nissan told me to go there. What a mistake. I never took it back to get fixed but they couldn't even paint my rear bumper right. Has a "fog" effect on the clear coat with many swirl marks. I am just waiting for the bodykit so i can rip that bumper off. Its always bugged me...
