Default Don't do business with Buena Park Nissan

long story short. Went for an oil change since it's always a good idea to keep your maintenance on record with dealership incase something major happens in the future.

Got car back. Fairly large paint chip on my door all the way down to the metal. I informed the service writer that his mechanic scratched my door (in polite way, wasn't throwing a huge fit)

service manager comes out and looks at the chip. Starts off by saying "there is no way that is our fault and we didn't do that."

I'm not much of a confrontational guy so i asked him there's anything he can do about it since there is no way for him to prove it wasn't their fault. He told me no. end of story

So everyone! tell all your friends and family to screw Buena Park Nissan and never do any form of business with them unless it involves ripping them off somehow.

dont dealerships normally check the car for any damages before doing any work on it. So this type of thing doesnt happen.......

Went to WC Nissan and i know they marked down any damage to the body, etc.

Yeah, I can't stand that place. I took my Z there once for an oil change. Went to pick it up, I was the only one there and they took about 20 mins to bring my car out. The service writer ended up getting my car for me.

And... to top it all off, I still get these damn automated specials/reminder phone calls on my cell because that's what I put down for my contact #..

West Covina Nissan is the place to be...

yeah, they did do a survey before the service. But they said because of the location of the scratch, they wouldn't have been able to notice it. stupid *******s.

anyhow, i just realized i put my phone number down for contact as well... god i hope they don't spam me with their stupid solicitations.

Well not sure what to say. A search on the forum would tell you which dealers are good. Buena Park is not one of them.

did anyone of you guys bring ur Z to Burena Park Nissan for oil consumption?
the damn manager keeps on telling me that he understands the situation and nothing he can do about it. He alleges 1 quart of engine oil burnt for every 1000 miles is considered NORMAL!!! He somewhat called someone alleging he's a Tech from Nissan and told me there 'might' be a solution to the problem around 2 months later.....

I wonder if he's lying....???

Speaking of Cerritos. I had bad experiance there as well.

The night i finally decided i was going to buy my Z I went there because I always hear advertisements that they have decent deals. I went and the sales man was pretty cool. When it came down to the financing the sales manager came out and was a total ***. Basically underminding my income and credit experiance because I was young. Trying to convince me to do a lease because he doesn't think i can qualify for the loan. Basically after that i stood up and left. Had to drive out to Universal City Nissan at midnight and got approved to finance a Z with a credit score of 730. (not the best but pretty good for 21)

So yeah, Buena Park and Cerritos... Screw these guys.

With a Credit Score of 730 you could probably get a loan for a Bentley.

I was eating 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles before I got my engine replaced. I got it done at Performance, but all the guys from Performance is at West Covina now. Take it to WCN and ask for Tim.

you need to do what I do every time I take the car to Nissan. I walk with the guy and point out all dents and scratches. If the guy doing the survey didn't catch it, is his fault for not doing a good walk through.
