naw i was at the 818 meet but there were only 3 other cars there besides me. he had said you were in the 818, I didnt know that cuz your "location" only stated los angeles. Rick is a really nice guy! Glad he was able to help you out! He helped me install a y-pipe, catback, and lowering springs a month ago, then i got into an accident 30 minutes later! I was asking him yesterday what install he had planned for the day and he told me about your plenum spacer. I don't know you and I was asking him today about how hard the install was and if the gains were big cuz I was thinking about doing the same thing! Was it a good mod???

motordyne claims 11-13hp with the 5/16 iso thermal plenum spacer... unfortunately i didnt dyno my car stock so i'd be going off others' stock 06 a/t dynos to compare. without a dyno though, i have to say it DOES feel like it's accelerating better, and coupled with the popcharger the sound from under the hood is sexxxxyyyyyyyyy

I heard those popchargers make some crazy azz sound when accelerating. I might have to ditch my AEM CAI for one of those...

Good to see the install went well, how much did the item cost? I really am thinking about getting one, but the wife would prefer I not spend that type of cash. But if I am going to get a mod I want it to actually work and be worth the money spent on it.

And yeah the accident sucked, we were doing a 80mph flyby to hear the sound of the exhaust and Rick was taping it, but the camera wasn't on at the time of the accident or he would have gotten that on tape. Some fool cut me off going too fast.
