if i was behind the pack then yes. I had quiet a few people honking at me cus i had to try to stay with you guys i got pretty much all the red lights that you guys bearly missed..
but damn i had to do what i had to do cus if i got lost out there i wouldnt been seen in a while haha. I was following my friend in the orangish metallic (i dont know 350z colors) 350 with an hks exhaust.

uhhhhhhhhhh wtf! Are our cars so riced out now that people aren't going to do this meet now? This used to be the best meet of the year!! I haven't even heard mention of this meet on this forum yet and June is in 3 days. I bet all the OG owners that used to go to this dont even have their Zs anymore. I can only think of a handfull of Zs still out there that dont have spray painted stock rims with a red lip and 2 spoilers on top of each other. We seriously need to have an awakening people!!!!

 

you're kidding, right? most of the socal z owners that are on these forums have really nicely modded cars.

 

Wow old thread...........but I have to agree Jeff the usual crowd has moved on. We still have some sick Z's but the ones that still have taste don't show up to meets. I don't expect to make any meets myself anytime soon after the horror of what I saw at the stillen meet.

 

I just moved down here to Huntington Beach (from the Bay Area) half a year ago. Looking forward to some meets with you guys!

 

hahahhahah. i saw some pictures.... they were shocking and terrifying. i can only imagine that they're worse in person.

 

If half of the crowd we know would have showed up it would have been a great meet but that was not the case. I saw about 5 Z's with Mine's decals damn near bone stock with nothing more than some horrible wheels with some of the most horrible offsets evar.........

 

the more riced out Zs there are the more my car looks like a rockstar even with my 18s

j/k i know what you mean Ed even the guys who drives Z's now since they have become hella affordable as a 2nd hand car the majority of them are kids and ricers all drive like ***** and try to race me and rev up its like dood come on yo

Wow... I just searched your post from after the Stillen meet, and I'm so glad that I didn't go. I was set to, and then something came up... what a break for me!!! I'm shocked, and embarrassed by what you saw.

I'll show up to the HB meet- I don't care if they're all slammed honda accords there....awesome shrimp tacos at Freds.

 

dude the place was sooooo far away... i'm already spending like $250 a month on gas, the less i drive the better
plus what is up with these big meets being so early in the morning? factoring in the time it takes to get there at 9ish i would have had to wake up at like 6am and..um...on a saturday? hell no.

anyway, yeah. i don't see that many horribly riced out z's in my area, but i do see a lot of z's driven by women, young and old... always on the cell phone too. it makes me sad.
