i'm thinking maybe those who are going to california speedway the morning of the 30th can roll through HB later on.....i just dont know how long the street legal thingy lasts at fontana

I guess it depends on how long people want to stay? I doubt you can make it to both, but who knows. What time does the cali. speedway thing start at?

 

people are meeting at like 6am since it's limited to 400.

huntington beach is the best at night though...light the pits, smoke, drink, etc..

 

ya the fire pits kick ***, it would be cool if some people stayed around untill it gets dark to could chill and drink by the pits...

what time u guys leavin daygo?? im in fo sho.....plus i know a backyard boogie kickin off in fullerton later that night, lemme know whats crackin.

 

Prob roll out at 8am. I live right near the I-5/I-805 merge, so we need to locate a place near there (maybe a bit further up I-5 with easy on/off access) to meet up at 7:45 for anyone from the SD area wanting to caravan up to the meet. Any suggestions?

 

Pits are great but have to be "claimed" fairly early in the day. I once did an event where people stood "shifts" to hold the fire ring(s) we wanted.

Not bad for an hour if properly attired / equipped for whatever time of day....

Any interest or too much hassle? Another thread?

 

strange, i kind of assumed that's what would be going on.......... like a huge z/g/etc beach party. i mean you guys are getting there at 930am.. that's early enough to claim a few pits next to each other.

Yeah, but then there's a cruise from the beach meeting site to another large lot in Irvine. When is that taking place (and why, for that matter)? It's like the meet is just moving from one location to another; not much details on the particulars of it, though.
