I understand the concern about tickets and such. For what its worth, an "established meet" is not going to save you from a ticket for illegal modifications to you vehicle. Even if Stillen sponsored a meet, police can just as easily wait until you leave and give you a ticket the second you drive onto a public street. Unfortunately the only way to avoid a ticket for illegal modifications is to remove them!

Yeah True. I just recently heard that certain insurance companies have been going down to racelegal at qualcomm and photographing cars and running the plates and then doing god knows what to their policies and stuff.... pretty shady if you ask me, and what a way to spoil a good thing.

You should go if you can. The roads are 2nd to Malibu IMO. There are tighter sections, but many of the roads are similar to Angeles Crest which you're so fond of, but with less patrols.

Run should be finished around 1200-1230. Slight chance we could finish sooner. I have a couple of stops planned for pictures/break. Of course, we will stop in Julian so everyone can pick up an apple pie!

Well, I saw it mentioned on the G35Driver thread for a meetup there at 7:30. PM'd Bat for confirmation, since he was in on setting that up, but haven't heard anything back. If I get no word, I'll just head straight to Fallbrook in the morning.

 

Was 92 in Julian today. Be HOT on the desert floor on the backside leg of the trip.
