haha this will be some custom workmanship that won't be seen from the outside, but will make the car look much nicer and more even looking on the ride height. Good luck on that LSD! That must be nice, but I can't imagine needing LSD until winter when it starts to rain.

My car is the blue one parked outside in the first pic and on the rack in the second pic

I see, I don't have any time for trackin'. just cruising to and from work! I'm affraid for the rainy season because I hear thats when Z's get wrecked all the time!

I could barely keep control of my MR2 with a 3sgte motor swap around 285hp but it HAD LSD and it was like driving on butter in the rain!

Affraid I'll end up crashing the Z when the rain comes later on this year

Does the shop have a waiting area, somewhere you can chill while they're working on the car?

They're semi-convenient to me (closer than WCN) but I'd probably have to hang out for a couple of hours while the work is being done.

Also, do they sell aftermarket parts, or do people bring their own for installation?

Thx!

Just make sure you have tires with good wet traction rating and be easy on the throttle. You should be ok

They do have a waiting room but it isn't that big. Ed can get aftermarket parts or you can bring your own. Whichever you prefer.

That is my main reason for having one installed.

What's their labor rate? Do they do custom fabrication or only maintenance and install?

About the LSD. It's actually easier to spin out with a LSD.

+1 but the room has a great air conditioner and stays nice n cold! But you can hsve them install parts you have or have them order some for you. I had a full AC line replaced and they ordered it and it was there for me when i arrived for the repairs.

As far as labor rate I can't say for sure what it is exactly. But they can tell you if you call them: 818-716-6744

With a 2way its easier. A 1.5 isn't that hard to spin out with but it is more controllable. With a 1way or open when you go sideways the car will try to kick its self out and making it harder to control. Along with the fact that you only have 1 tire to keep your rear down instead of 2.

Went to Precision Z again today and they worked their magic on my suspension and now its PERFECT! Very happy with the great work done!

They were installing an LSD on a white 2006 with 18s and Tanabe sprins with Nismo exhaust, anyone on here???

oh yeah myfirst350z did you get yoru LSD installed? They may be able to help out with that if not done so yet.

wait a sec. I wonder how much they charge or if they even have the machinery to install a 3.7 final drive. Ed's a really cool guy, he went to a local malibu meet up i setup with his wife, very cool people. It was sick having a young new nissan generation and an older true nissan generation all hanging out. Plus Ed also was there to try and help me with my motor issue, and that gave me a huge good impression of his business ethics, cause he followed up with me even after he found out the Performance helped me out in the end. Very cool guy. If you're reading this Ed, I look forward to doing business with ya!
